Yet another Bank holiday has passed me by!

Well another precious holiday weekend that I have spent stuck on my knees colouring or at the drawing board. Thank goodness the weather lived up to expectation. It would have been even more pergatory to have been stuck in doors while the sun beat down. So much for drought!!
Anyway managed to complete the hard works plans and finally recoloured the Master plan.
Here are the fruits of my labour....

It ain't wonderful, but a damn sight better than the one I pinned up in January. Have to put that one down as one of life's little experiences!!!

Penultimate weekend

The big count down has started, before the final pin-up exhibition on the 5th of June. No more visits to Avery Hill....Yippee!
I am determined today to finish masses of stuff this weekend, and hopefully have most things under control by the middle of next week, so I can actually plan what I am doing rather than the usual knee-jerk reaction of throwing things up on the wall! That's the plan anyway. If it works it will be the first time this academic year!
Currently re-doing the changes our glorious leader did to my construction drawings. Personally I think he was just nit-picking! (but then what do I know, as a lowly student??!!)

How long to colour in a plan?

Just finished colouring in my two 1:50 plans. It has taken more than two days to do so, and if they are not right I think I will quit now!

Back to the grind!

After a semi relaxing weekend it is back to the grind with a vengeance. A few bits to redo and a few bits to complete, then its titivation time for the exhibition.
I haven't decided yet what to display from the sketch designs as they were all cr*p and will do my street cred no good what so ever.

The only true thing I have learned all year is to perfect my swearing! I bet I'd get an A+ for that!

The final crit!!

Well today was the day. The result of all of the blood sweat and TEARS was pinned on the walls of the design studio at Hadlow. There was some amazing work, which shows the standard of the potential competition ahead.
As for my lot I felt content with a B. As I appear to be crest fallen this year and achieving less than acceptable grades, this seemed to be a major break through.

However I was told to readdress the way in which I display my wares?

In to the lions' den

...like a lamb to the slaughter.

Well tomorrow is it, and lucky ol' me is first to go. 10.05 is my time slot after clearing the Studio at 10.00am.
Let's hope that everyone is in a HAPPY frame of mind....no soggy cornflakes or an argument with the missus to start the day off on the wrong foot.
I don't think that I will end this day, as I still have to finish ANNOTATING my sections (albeit in rough) and to gather my bits and pieces for a 7.00am departure (the hazards of living right on the South coast!!).
Good luck to everyone. I'm sure that standard (minus 1) will be extremely high.

Forgive me father.....

.....for I have not blogged for a while! I have written drafts that I have not posted as they have been lacking in imagery. It all takes so long to up load.

Today I have kicked ass (or nailed it as my son would say...very polite). Finished rendering the 1:200 plan.

Which I have just noticed is up-side down (wasn't that a suggestion by TT?)

Remounted the photomontage images with annotation, completed one planting plan at 1:50 and done most of the extremely detailed annotation required for one of the 1:50 plan.

Still got every thing left for the second detailed area though....four days left!

I promised myself I wasn't going to freak over this one, but it's starting!

One step forward, fifty two back!

Another board finished, the existing site plan, but another x amount to go, now at 1:50. Got home last night, my head spinning at the days technical overload, but enjoyed the wind blowing my hair on the drive home, in that lovely warm sunshine. Evening meal all prepared by hubby, and a glass of wine on the patio.
Decided to have the night off, but then embarked on doodling over my predominantly planted area and have created something of a swirling mass (or is that mess?) Anyway off to tweak it on the drawing board and then off to the print shop.
PS Can't wait to read all of the technical pdfs sent by our glorious leader!

Wot a beautiful day....

...and I'm stuck in doors again, having not been out for over a week now, other then the school run. The sun is shining, its really warm and I just want to be outside. (moan, complain!! - the wonderful life of being a student)
Here are my sections, hot off the colouring board.

Bank holiday? What bank holiday?

Yet another extended weekend has passed me by, and I have not left the house for being burdened with all of the work still left to do. I have been chipping away at the schedule list, and shockingly I think I now have more ticks than non-ticks?
Finished drainage earlier today and have been re-visiting the lighting concept.
I am finding it quite difficult to commit to a size on which to arrange plans and images, but have decided to make the lighting concept in total A2.
Tried to upload some images, but as ever the blog is being temperamental!
